Open Text Fax Appliance, Premier Edition (formerly Castelle FaxPress Premier) is a flexible analog fax solution with servers ranging from 4 to 16 lines.
With integrated file storage for system and fax data files, a multitasking embedded Windows operating system and pre-installed Open Text FaxPress Plus for Fax Appliance client and server software, Premier Appliance can support users in a variety of networking environments-including Microsoft Windows, Novell NetWare, Linux/Unix, and Apple Macintosh. A powerful software development kit (SDK) also allows users to develop custom fax applications; while the drop directory and drop fax service offers a simple and straightforward approach to production faxing.

An Expandable Fax Appliance
Premier Appliance provides unmatched scalability for the growing enterprise. With Intel Dialogic 33.6 analog fax modem boards and driver software pre-installed, Premier Appliance is available in 4, 8, 12 or 16 line versions. Upgrade kits allow more lines to be added as needed and Premier Appliance can also be easily configured for load sharing with other Fax Appliance servers.
Open Text FaxPress Plus for Fax Appliance Software
Premier Appliance includes Open Text FaxPress Plus for Fax Appliance, version 6.0 client and server software. The server software comes pre-installed on the unit and installing the client software is optional since the web interface allows access to both faxing and administrative functions from any workstation with a web browser.
Secure Web Interface
The Secure Web Interface provides a Web-based server configuration, administration, and faxing utility that can be used to manage users and administer units, as well as send and receive faxes.
