Open Text Fax server, RightFax Edition Lotus Notes Module is an optional module that links Lotus Notes with RightFax desktop fax features, creating a fully unified fax and email solution that allows users to send, receive and manage faxes directly from their Notes client. Notes users need virtually no training to send and receive faxes, because they'll use Notes in the same way they would send and receive emails.

Database synchronization between Lotus Notes/Domino and Fax Server allows unified administration of both servers. Fax Server technology is uniquely designed to complement and extend Notes/Domino functionality, without drawing resources away from those critical systems and applications. By off-loading the module to a Lotus Notes client installed on Fax Server, the module runs independently of the Domino server and its processes. By creating efficient and independent fax technology, Fax Server moves ahead in the areas of server stability and independence. Fax Server requirements: Fax Server 9.3 and Feature Pack 2 Service Release 6 and above with the optional Fax Server Lotus Notes Module installed.
