Simple SMTP Connector (Fax Appliance A10x)

OpenText Fax Appliance works with all SMTP email clients, allowing users to scan paper documents into a Xerox MFP and email them to the Fax Appliance with delivery instructions. The Fax Appliance then sends the fax automatically.

RightFax SMTP Connector for MFPs (RightFax)

This connector allows you to easily fax paper documents using nearly any piece of office equipment equipped with scan-to-email capability. Xerox MFPs which are not supported by other connectors may be supported by the OpenText RightFax SMTP Connector for MFPs.

RightFax Connector for Xerox EIP MFPs

The OpenText RightFax Connector for Xerox EIP MFPs allows you to scan paper documents and send them to RightFax for transmission. This connector also provides sophisticated two-way communications with access to phonebooks, settings, and delivery options right on your Xerox device's control panel. Use your Xerox EIP MFP to:

• Scan paper documents and fax them via fax server
• Set cover sheet options (Xerox interface support may vary by model)
• Send as guest user or authenticated fax server user
• Enter cover sheet notes
• Delay send
• Enter up to two billing codes
• Print, email, or file drop fax status notification
• Use a personal phonebook at the device (authenticated users only)
• Share one MFP-specific phonebook with all users
• Integrate card reader authentication

RightFax Connector for Xerox MFPs (non-ElP MFPs)

The OpenText RightFax Connector for Xerox MFPs (non-ElP MFPs) requires either a network scanning or server fax accessories enabled on the Xerox MFP, and allows you to scan paper documents and route them to RightFax or an OpenText FaxPress appliance for sending. The user experience is dependent on a particular MFP and is designed by Xerox. The server fax accessory is available from Xerox and may be an additional charge per MFP. Use your Xerox (non-EIP) MFP to:

• Scan paper documents and fax them via fax server
• Set cover sheet options (Xerox interface support may vary by model)
• Send as guest user or authenticated fax server user
• Choose from normal or certified delivery
• Enter cover sheet notes
• Delay send
• Enter up to two billing codes
• Print, email, or file drop fax status notification
• Use a personal phonebook at the device (authenticated users only)
• Share one MFP-specific phonebook with all users
• Integrate card reader authentication

Important Notes about Supported Models

• WorkCentre™ Pro requires firmware version 13.060.17.000 or earlier for models 232, 238, 245, 255, 265, and 275.
• The RightFax Connector for Xerox MFPs (non-EIP) requires either network scanning or server fax accessories enabled on the Xerox MFP.
• The RightFax Connector for Xerox EIP MFPs requires an EIP v1.x or later-enabled MFP.
