OpenText RightFax, OpenText FaxPress and OpenText Fax Appliance integrate easily with HP MFPs, allowing you to consolidate faxing services. OpenText and HP provide your workforce with faxing capabilities on the same devices they already use for printing, scanning, and copying.

Simple SMTP Connector (Fax Appliance A10x)

Fax Appliance supports all SMTP email clients so when you scan paper documents at your HP MFP, it can email them directly to the Fax Appliance with automatic faxing instructions included.

RightFax SMTP Connector for MFPs (RightFax)

RightFax can easily fax paper documents using any HP MFP with scan-to-email capability. HP MFPs that are not supported by advanced, two-way RightFax connectors built for select HP devices (below) may be supported by the RightFax SMTP Connector for MFPs.

RightFax Connector for HP DSS MFPs (RightFax, FaxPress)

Users of HP Digital Sending Software (DSS) scan their paper documents at a compatible MFP, address their fax on the MFP's control panel, and send. Because this connector is built specifically for HP DSS devices and RightFax, it offers advanced capabilities. These include:

• Scan paper documents and fax them via RightFax (or FaxPress)
• Set cover sheet options (HP support for interface may vary by model)
• Send as guest user or authenticated fax server user
• Choose from normal or certified delivery
• Enter cover sheet notes
• Delay send
• Enter up to two billing codes
• Print, email, or file drop fax status notification
• Use your own personal phonebook at the MFP (authenticated users only)
• Share a global MFP-specific phonebook with all MFP users
• Integrate third-party card reader for easy, secure authentication
