Open Text FaxPress for Fax Appliance Software

2500 Appliance comes with Open Text FaxPress for Fax Appliance, version 9.1 client and server software. FaxPress server software is installed on a network file server or workstation, using the server or workstation to queue up outgoing faxes and store incoming ones.

Email Integration

2500 Appliance supports fax and email integration that enables users to send and receive faxes directly from popular email environments: Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes, Novell GroupWise and SMTP-compatible email systems. Unlike the embedded email gateways in the rest of the Open Text Fax Appliance product line, email gateways for the 2500 Appliance run on a separate workstation.

FaxPress Software Developers Kit (SDK)

Open Text Fax Appliance, 2500 Edition comes with a free Software Developers Kit (SDK) for developing custom fax applications. The SDK's Procedural Interface is a complete C/C++ based API library set that can be used to develop fax applications or add faxing capabilities to custom applications.
